LINKOU, NEW TAIPEI ・ GRADES 1–12

Every child has a gap.
It deserves to be found.

Learning is not about sitting through the same lesson again. It is about finding the gap and closing it. We assess first, then build a plan around what your child actually needs.

Own Pace

An individual plan

Hello Teacher Education is a tutoring center at No. 95, Sec. 1, Wenhua 1st Rd., Linkou District, New Taipei City, next to Chonglin Junior High School and close to the Linkou–Guishan border. We serve students from elementary through senior high school with one-on-one tutoring, a supervised study hall (10 students max), a reading-first after-school program, and a private junior-high entrance program. Next door at No. 95-2 is our elementary campus, home to the English program for children. Our method is simple: assess first, then teach — we find the gap before deciding what to cover.

OUR APPROACH

What you need is not one more class

We teach more than content — we teach how to learn: diagnose the problem, design the plan, then work through it together.

01

Another lecture is not understanding

Sitting through one more class does not automatically turn into understanding. What a child needs is someone to point out exactly where the gap is — not to hear the same lesson twice.

Assess × Tutor
02

Repeating the whole course is wasteful

After three hours of class, the part a child truly does not understand may be just a few concepts. Retaking the whole thing spends money on the hours they already knew.

Targeted Support
03

A bad result does not mean adding a subject

Without an assessment, adding classes is guesswork. Find the step where things broke down first, then decide what to arrange — otherwise the gap only grows.

Assess, Then Plan
04

Do not wait for the report card

Learning that works is tracked every day. In the study hall, daily progress and a daily check mean problems do not carry over to tomorrow.

PROGRAMS

Three formats, one goal

After the assessment, we combine whichever fits your child.

STUDY PROGRAM

Supervised Study Hall

Daily tracking × progress management|10 students max

Building study habits: finish homework, plan the day's reading, take a daily check, then ask the supervising teacher. What is covered today is confirmed today — problems never wait for the report card.

  • A daily plan and a daily check
  • An assigned seat in a quiet, bright room
  • Pairs with one-on-one for precise support

One-on-One Tutoring

One teacher, one child. We assess first to find which step broke down, then work through it question by question — covering only what is genuinely needed.

ENTRANCE PREP

Private Junior-High Entrance Program

For families preparing for private junior-high entrance exams. Systematic problem-type training and full mock exams, in a class strictly capped at 8 students.

AFTER SCHOOL

Reading-First After-School

Our alternative to conventional after-school care for elementary students: we check that school homework is complete and correct, then use the remaining time for reading instead of extra worksheets. Understanding is confirmed through discussion, not paper tests.

ENGLISH FOR KIDS

English Program (Elementary Campus)

At our elementary campus next door (No. 95-2): English for children, activity sessions with foreign teachers, and English storybook reading — alongside a reading corner and quiet study space.

FAQ

Questions parents ask most

Where are you located and how do I contact you?

Our main campus is at No. 95, Sec. 1, Wenhua 1st Rd., Linkou District, New Taipei City, next to Chonglin Junior High School. Call 02-2600-8267, or message us on LINE for a reply from our staff.

What does "assess first, then teach" mean?

Before we place a student in any class, we run an assessment to find where the gaps actually are. The results decide whether the student needs the study hall, one-on-one tutoring, or a small group class — so we only cover what is genuinely missing, instead of repeating what the child already knows.

How large are the classes?

All classes are small. The study hall is capped at 10 students; other small-group classes, such as the grade-9 mock exam class and the private junior-high entrance program, are strictly capped at 8. One-on-one tutoring is also available.

How is one-on-one tutoring different from a private tutor?

It is one-on-one teaching, but it happens at our center: we assess first to locate the gaps, and a homeroom teacher tracks progress and plans the study path. That makes it more systematic than a private tutor working alone.

Do you offer after-school care?

Yes — our reading-first after-school program. We check that school homework is complete and correct, then replace extra worksheets with real reading time. The goal is to build learning ability rather than to fill the hours.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday 14:30–21:30, and Saturday and Sunday 09:30–17:00.

What is the elementary campus?

Hello Teacher Elementary Campus (老師好小學堂 林口麗林校) is at No. 95-2, Sec. 1, Wenhua 1st Rd., right next door to the main campus. Call 02-2600-8276. It runs the English program for children, activity sessions with foreign teachers, and English storybook reading.

How do I book a free assessment or trial class?

Use the booking form on this page, message us on LINE, or call 02-2600-8267. The assessment and the trial class are both free.
